Shipping
Shipping is calculated at check out for domestic shipping within the United States and is based on the total amount of your purchase before any applicable tax. International shipping is also calculated at check out for domestic shipping within the United States and is based on the total amount of your purchase before any applicable tax.Our standard (default) shipping method is USPS (United States Postal Service). Delivery is typically 3-5 business days (business days exclude Sundays and US federal holidays), and is not guaranteed. Orders to non-contiguous states may be longer.
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other non-contiguous locations will only be shipped USPS. Also, USPS is the only option to ship to PO boxes or US military/diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO).
International delivery times vary based on shipping method and destination.
Orders are shipped every day except Sunday and major holidays. Please contact us if you need a specific shipping estimate for your order.
Note: Orders must be placed by 3pm PST for 2 Day and Next Day delivery. It's important that you remember that expedited shipping methods are based on business days. If you would like Saturday delivery let us know, it may be an additional cost.
A few notes:
- If your order is urgent please let us know and we will get right on it if possible. Also, please keep in mind that if you order a yard of 25 different fabrics your order may take a wee bit more time than if you order a charm pack!
- We may change standard shipping methods at our discretion if a shipment results in oversize charges. This most often would apply to orders that include batting, cutting mats, or other large items. Products noted as being shipped by a third party get shipped various methods, not always under our control.
- Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping addresses when ordering. If an order goes to a wrong address we will ask for your assistance in tracking down the package, such as contacting neighbors or your post office.
- Order changes: If you need to change your order, notify us as soon as possible. Orders start to get processed sometimes within minutes. We will do our best to help but cannot change orders after they are packed and shipped.
- **Downloadable patterns, gift certificates, and membership/pre-order fees are not included in shipping calculations.
Orders shipped International Mail typically take 2-4 weeks. However, it can take longer, especially during peak times (see notes about customs below). Most items provide tracking or delivery confirmation.
UPS Worldwide Expedited is 2-3 business days to Canada, 3 to 6 business days to the rest of the world. Packages are fully trackable. These shipments will go through customs so please read our policy on customs, duties and taxes below.
In some cases such as an oversized item, we may require an additional shipping cost and if so we will contact you.
Disclaimer: We have a "ship at your own risk" policy for some countries. We will not be able to reliably track or re-ship your package if it is not delivered and will not provide refunds or credits for lost orders to the following countries: South Africa, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Chile, Panama, Ecuador, Malaysia, Philippines, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, India, Namibia, Pakistan, Falkland Islands, Brunei, Mauritius,and United Arab Emirates.
Customs, Duties and Taxes on International Orders
Any customs, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Some countries may require us to collect taxes, GST, or VAT on their behalf. We will do so only if required and applicable taxes will be shown during checkout. Customers are responsible for understanding the laws and processes related to duties and taxes in their country and region. We cannot control whether a package gets delayed and/or charged duties and taxes by the customs office in any international country.
All prices are in US dollars. We are not responsible for any exchange rate differences.
Returns
We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied but we know that sometimes that isn't possible.
We have a 30-day return policy on items you are not satisfied with. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide additional instructions and expedite your return process.
If a product in your order is incorrect, damaged or missing, please contact customer service within 30 days of receipt of the order so that we can work with you to make it right. Unfortunately we will not be able to replace, reship or refund if we’re not notified within those first 30 days.
Exceptions: Sale items may not be returned. Due to copyright laws, patterns and books may not be returned. We do not provide replacement packaging for products that are not otherwise damaged.
Refunds will be issued once returns are received and processed by us. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges. Refunds for refused or abandoned packages will be at our discretion.
All returns must be in new condition and include all original packaging. Returns that have a smoke odor will not be refunded. If an item has been used, it is not eligible to be returned.
Returns of products with Manufacturer Warranties: If you’ve purchased a product that came with a Manufacturer Warranty please follow the instructions included with your product warranty for details on how to proceed for repair or replacement. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of damaged or malfunctioning warrantied products.
Privacy
Personal information collected at time of check out may include name, address, email, and phone number. Any personal information that is collected on our site is only used for order fulfillment, contacting you in case we cannot complete the order or for general marketing for our company only. We will never sell or give your personal information to a 3rd party.Please note if you sign up for the Newsletter Email Marketing you can unsubscribe at any point.
